Overview

Are you friendly, reliable, and passionate about providing great customer service? We are looking for a Food Service Assistant to join our dedicated catering team at Brooksby College. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy, vibrant college canteen, helping to deliver a positive dining experience for our students and staff. Working as part of a team, the successful candidate will always deliver an exceptional standard of customer service and assist in the daily running of our catering provision.

Responsibilities

• Serving customers, handling cash, and maintaining kitchen standards.
• Having a good awareness of food allergens and communicating regularly with the chefs about allergens and ingredients.
• Supporting internal catering, stock rotation and maintaining cleanliness, kitchen hygiene and health and safety standards across all areas.
• This role is a fixed term, term time only role working 25 hours per week across 36 weeks throughout the year.
