Overview

Food Service Assistant - Must have cooking experience — Ranelagh Primary School, Ipswich IP2 0AN. 10 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, term time only. Monday to Friday; 11:30am - 13:30pm. £12.21 per hour.

Main responsibilities

• Assist food preparation with the head of kitchen, layout and display food for counter service (including prepared meals) and check temperatures, as well as the layout of dining room furniture if required.
• Assist in the serving of meals.
• Collect and dispose of waste food and materials.
• Wash-up or clean all items of crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, equipment; clean the service area and dining room and put furniture away if required.
• Follow Vertas Catering policies and report faults or defects to the Head of Kitchen.
