Job summary

A leading food manufacturing company in Edgeley Bank is seeking Food Production Operatives for their Whitchurch facility. Qualifications

  • Previous experience within the food manufacturing industry is desirable.
  • Picking/packing/palletising experience is desirable.
  • Be able to complete/read labels and paperwork when required is essential.
  • Comfortable with heavy lifting up to 20 kg is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Packing products and cutting blocks of cheese to specified sizes.
  • Palletising and unboxing products and quality checking.
  • Handle rejects from the production lines and follow hygiene regulations.
  • Supervise the correct operation of the machines ensuring quality.
  • Complete daily/weekly cleaning documents.

Skills

Comfortable with heavy lifting up to 20 kg
Ability to complete/read labels and paperwork
Experience in food manufacturing industry
Experience in picking/packing/palletising
