Job summary

A leading food manufacturing company in Peterborough is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to optimize plant efficiency and ensure safety compliance. The ideal candidate should have NVQ Level 3 in Engineering and experience in a production environment, preferably in food or consumer products. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, collaborating with production teams, and adhering to food safety standards. This is a 3 on 3 off shift role with day and night rotations.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in relevant Engineering Discipline.
• Working experience in a production environment, preferably food or consumer products.
• Good understanding of Food Safety practices and HACCP.

Responsibilities

• Continuously assess efficiency of plant and equipment.
• Maximise utilisation of plant through planned maintenance.
• Work with Production and Quality teams to improve product quality.
