Job description

Join us where the River Thet winds through tranquil woodland at Thorpe Forest. Location: Thorpe Forest (Norfolk). Salary £12.51 per hour. Working Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Days of work: 2 week rolling rota – Subject to change for business needs. Working every other weekend.

About the Food & Beverage Supervisor role

You’ll support the Food & Beverage Manager in ensuring smooth, efficient, and friendly service at the Forest Retreat, the heart of our location. With morning shifts starting no earlier than 8am and evenings finishing by 9pm, this role offers a refreshing work-life balance rarely found in hospitality.

Key responsibilities
  • Leading and motivating the Food & Beverage team to deliver outstanding service
  • Ensuring guests receive a warm welcome and exceptional experience throughout their stay
  • Training and developing the team to meet brand standards
  • Managing stock levels and ensuring all areas are well-presented and prepared
  • Conducting health & safety and food hygiene checks
  • Monitoring service quality and maintaining high standards
  • Managing team workload to provide efficient, friendly service
  • Reporting maintenance or safety concerns promptly
  • Upholding company policies, food safety regulations and H&S standards
