• Operate Forklift Loader following safety protocols.
• Maintain clear communication with team members.
• Adhere strictly to workplace guidelines.

Job description

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a FLT Stores Operator to work with Unipart JCB, a leading company known for its expertise in logistics and supply chain management. Unipart JCB provides comprehensive services, including warehousing, distribution, and transportation solutions.

Shift Patterns:

• Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 16:00 + OT
• Friday: 07:00 - 12:00

Pay Rates:

• Standard: £13.67 per hour
• Overtime: £20.50 per hour (paid after 39 standard hours)

Requirements of a FLT Stores Operator

• Previous stores experience
• Valid forklift certificate/license
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication (written and verbal)
• This role requires working outdoors in various weather conditions

Responsibilities of a FLT Stores Operator

• Auditing of suppliers
• Organise deliveries into goods in
• Decant pallets into single parts ready for marshalling
• Check Good Receive Notes against physical stock received
• Raise any discrepancies or defects to the customer to protect stock integrity and ensure accurate production information
• Operate FLT in line with health & safety protocols
• Maintain clear communication with team members and supervisors
• Adhere to site procedures and guidelines
