Job description

We are looking for a dedicated Raw Materials Operator to join our site in Bury. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe, accurate and efficient movement and handling of all raw materials, ensuring that each stage of the process meets our strict site and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Control and monitor all raw material movements through meticulous planning and documentation.
• Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) and stock accuracy are maintained at all times.
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
• Weigh out raw materials accurately according to (BOM).
• Carry out dispensary cleaning in line with SOPs following material weighing to prevent cross-contamination.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying areas where processes or standards can be enhanced.

About You

• Previous experience in a GMP pharmaceutical or food manufacturing environment, ideally with exposure to raw materials, warehouse management, or stock control.
• A valid Reach Truck licence.
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
• Able to work accurately, maintain high standards, and follow strict procedures.
• Confident in identifying opportunities for process improvement.
