Salary: £35,815. 11 + 15% night shift premium

Grade: RCS M
Contract Type: Permanent - Full Time
Shift patterns: 37.5 hours per week, Any 5 from 7 - predominantly Sunday - Thursday 10pm - 6am
Location: Derby - DE74 2BB

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• To directly assist operational management by initiating, monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of all flow room activities and staff performance
• To manage and implement productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, monitoring the operational work flow and automated equipment whilst ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames and always maintaining standards of excellence
• Responsible for Health and Safety across the team and driving a Safety First Culture, to ensure all staff are safe within the workplace at all times
• Support a continuous improvement programme to increase efficient and effective working practices within the operation

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Previous experience in a similar people management role, within warehousing/supply chain
• Customer management experience is advantageous
• IT Literacy with experience using Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems
• Start-up experience is desirable
