Job summary

JD Group is seeking a Floor Manager to lead shop-floor operations, drive sales, and deliver the JD service standard. You’ll mentor a frontline team, maintain high visual and operational standards, and partner with store leadership to achieve targets.

You’ll bring hands-on leadership, strong communication, and a customer‑centric mindset to a fast-paced retail environment, ensuring every shift runs smoothly and the store reflects JD’s brand excellence.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced retail or customer-facing environment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with proven experience supporting and developing team members.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to uphold high operational and visual standards.
• Solid commercial awareness with an understanding of how daily actions contribute to store KPIs and performance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding JD service standards, ensuring every customer receives fast, friendly, and professional support.
• Drive commercial performance through effective shop-floor execution, including merchandising, replenishment, and motivating the team.
• Lead and develop colleagues to maintain high performance, strong engagement, and consistent adherence to JD policies and processes.
• Support day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and maintaining a clean, organised shop-floor environment.
