Overview

We have an excellent opportunity to join the team as a Floor Layer.

Location: Nottingham • Hours: 37 hours per week • Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities
  • Carry out installation, repair, and maintenance of floor and wall finishes, including wet-room wall boarding.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and tenancy agreement obligations.
  • Assist in delivering high levels of tenant satisfaction and improving landlord-tenant relationships.
  • Undertake investigations and tests to diagnose faults and implement effective solutions.
  • Use multi-trade skills where appropriate to achieve first-time fixes.
  • Maintain accurate job records and support efficient housing services.
What we’re looking for
  • Experienced in all aspects of floor and wall finishes, including wet-room wall boarding.
  • Skilled in repairs, maintenance, new builds, or contract environments, with experience in job assessments and record keeping.
  • Competent in using relevant power tools and equipment safely.
  • Capable of investigating and resolving issues with lasting solutions.
  • Flexible, organised, and able to work to deadlines.
  • Holds a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle (business insurance required)
