Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible postal delivery drivers. You will deliver letters and parcels in your community, driving a Royal Mail van and walking parts of your route to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.

This is a temporary, shift-based role that fits around your lifestyle and contributes to the essential postal service. Successful candidates will pass a driving assessment, have a full UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points, and be ready for

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk up to 20,000 steps per day and handle a 16 kg mailbag.
• Shifts vary; team players able to adapt quickly are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels on your route and in your community.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and walk sections of the route as needed.
• Handle election materials and restricted items in line with policy.
• Provide excellent, dependable service in all weather conditions.
