Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible temporary postal delivery drivers. You will be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine.

The role combines driving a delivery van with walking route segments, offering active, outdoor work and a chance to serve local communities. Successful candidates will hold a full, manual UK driving licence with up to six points and be prepared to walk long distances, lifting up to 16 kg.

Qualifications

• Driving Licence: Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Physical Fitness: Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Flexibility: Shifts can vary, require team players who can adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels to communities as the face of Royal Mail.
• Drive a Royal Mail delivery van and complete route segments on foot where required.
• Provide exceptional service and ensure items reach their destinations safely.
