Job summary

Royal Mail is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join us as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. As a Post Person with Driving, you'll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels across your route, on foot and from the van.

Shifts vary and may include mornings, evenings or weekends. You’ll need a full UK driving licence, be physically fit to walk long distances, and pass a driving assessment on start.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk long distances and handle a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts are variable; need to adapt quickly to changing schedules.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your delivery area, on foot and from the van.
• Ensure secure, accurate delivery to customers in all conditions.
• Pass a driving assessment at start and maintain service standards.
