Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, driving a van and delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine.

Shifts vary; you’ll need a full UK driving licence with up to 6 points and the fitness to walk long distances, including handling items up to 16kg. A driving assessment is required on start.

Qualifications

• Driving licence: Full, manual UK licence with up to 6 points.
• Good physical fitness; ability to walk long distances and lift up to 16kg.
• Flexible shifts and ability to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels in your community as a Post Person with Driving.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and complete parts of your route on foot, providing excellent service.
