Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join us as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. As a Post Person with Driving, you’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine.

You’ll drive your round in a Royal Mail van, finish parts on foot, and handle election materials and certain items in line with business standards. Shifts vary and there may be potential for progression into a permanent role.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Willingness to walk long distances and lift bags up to 16 kg.
• Flexible shifts and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels in your delivery area.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and complete parts of the route on foot.
• Handle election materials and certain items following business standards.
