Job summary

Angard Recruitment is helping Royal Mail recruit casual delivery drivers to serve communities. You will drive a Royal Mail van on a local round, delivering letters and parcels, and you will also be on foot for parts of your route.

The role emphasises a flexible, temporary position with shifts that can vary. A driving licence (UK, full, with up to 6 points) and good physical fitness are required, along with a willingness to pass a driving assessment on start.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Excellent physical fitness required to walk 20,000 steps per day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Flexible team player able to adapt to short-notice shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your delivery round in the community.
• Safely deliver items, including election materials, in line with Royal Mail standards.
• Provide friendly, reliable service and ensure items reach destinations on time.
