Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible postal delivery drivers (temporary). You will drive a Royal Mail van on your route and also walk portions of the route, delivering letters and parcels in your community with pride and reliability.

Expect dynamic shifts and the chance to stay active throughout the day, with training and a driving assessment on start. This paid role offers variety and a direct connection to communities every day.

Qualifications

• Driving Licence: Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Physical fitness: Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Flexibility: Shifts can vary and require adapting at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your route, driving a Royal Mail van and some parts on foot.
• Provide exceptional service and ensure on-time delivery come rain or shine.
• Handle and deliver election materials and certain items in line with business standards.
