Job summary

Royal Mail is recruiting flexible, temporary postal delivery drivers. You will drive a Royal Mail van and deliver letters and parcels across your round, with parts of the route completed on foot. The role combines driving with active delivery and community service, demanding reliability and a customer-focused approach.

Expect varied shifts and the need to pass a driving assessment on start. You will be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering items in all weather and ensuring on-time

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with appropriate points
• Physical stamina for walking and lifting up to 16kg
• Willingness to work varied shifts and adapt quickly

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your round, with parts of the route completed on foot
• Safely handle and deliver items in line with Royal Mail standards and campaign rules
