Job summary

Royal Mail is recruiting flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers to join their delivery teams in the community. You will drive a Royal Mail van and also deliver on foot, ensuring accuracy and safety in every delivery.

The role requires a full UK manual driving licence with up to six points, high physical activity, and the ability to adapt to varying shift patterns. Temporary positions may lead to permanent opportunities.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; you must be able to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Drive your delivery round and ensure items are delivered to the correct destination.
• Deliver letters and parcels, including certain items, safely and on time.
