Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking reliable Supply Learning Support Assistants to support pupils across Chelmsford and wider Essex. This flexible role offers the chance to work across primary, secondary and early years settings with weekly pay.

You will work 1:1 or in small groups, assist teachers, and help create calm, structured environments that enable learning. Previous classroom or childcare experience is welcomed; a friendly, adaptable attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience is ideal but not essential)
• Background in childcare, tutoring, youth work, coaching or SEN support is welcome
• Friendly, adaptable and confident personality
• Comfortable working in new and varied school environments
• A genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups
• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Bringing calm, structure and positivity into busy classrooms
• Supporting pupils with additional needs where required
• Helping ensure learning runs smoothly throughout the day
• Making a real difference in everyday classroom moments
