Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a Supply Learning Support Assistant to support pupils across Chelsmford and Essex in a flexible, part-time or full-time capacity. You will work across primary, secondary and early years settings, assisting with 1:1 and small-group support and helping maintain calm, structured classrooms.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience ideal but not essential)
• Background in childcare, tutoring, youth work, coaching or SEN support is welcome
• Friendly, adaptable and confident personality
• Comfortable working in new and varied school environments
• A genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups
• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Bringing calm, structure and positivity into busy classrooms
• Supporting pupils with additional needs where required
• Helping ensure learning runs smoothly throughout the day
• Making a real difference in everyday classroom moments
