Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a Supply Learning Support Assistant to support pupils across Chelmsford and Essex, with flexible shifts and weekly pay. You’ll work 1:1 or in small groups, assist teachers with lessons and classroom management, and help create a calm, structured environment across primary, secondary, and early years settings.

Qualifications

Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience ideal but not essential).
Background in childcare, tutoring, youth work, coaching or SEN support is welcome.
Friendly, adaptable and confident personality.
Comfortable working in new and varied school environments.
A genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed.

Responsibilities

Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups
Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
Bringing calm, structure and positivity into busy classrooms
Supporting pupils with additional needs where required
Helping ensure learning runs smoothly throughout the day
Making a real difference in everyday classroom moments
