Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a Supply Learning Support Assistant to work across Chelmsford and Essex. You will support pupils in diverse school settings, 1:1 or in small groups, and assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management.

Flexibility is key: choose days you are available, with opportunities across primary, secondary and early years settings, and pathways into long-term roles within education.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people; school-based experience is ideal but not essential.
• Background in childcare, tutoring, youth work, coaching or SEN support is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils 1:1 or in small groups.
• Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management.
• Bring calm, structure and positivity into busy classrooms.
• Support pupils with additional needs as required.
• Help ensure learning runs smoothly throughout the day.
• Contribute to everyday classroom moments.
