Job summary

RAC is seeking a Superflex Roadside Patrol technician to diagnose faults and repair vehicles at the roadside across the UK. You’ll combine technical skill with outstanding customer service to get members back on the road quickly while providing reassurance during emergencies.

The role offers a variable shift pattern including evenings and weekends, with ongoing development and accreditation opportunities through the IMI. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance with 2+ years' experience.
• OR 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and repair vehicles roadside.
• Provide diagnostics and support across the UK to RAC members.
• Deliver excellent customer service and reassurance on scene.
• Work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends and peak periods.
