Job summary

RAC is looking for a Superflex Roadside Patrol to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll diagnose faults, provide quick, confident solutions and reassure members when they need RAC most.

This role offers flexible shifts (days, evenings, weekends) driven by member demand, with a structured development pathway and IMI accreditation opportunities to advance your technical career within the RAC.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults and provide quick, confident solutions.
• Work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and peak periods.
