Job summary

RAC is seeking a Superflex Roadside Patrol to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. The role offers flexible shifts including evenings, weekends and peak demand periods, with training and a clear path to IMI accreditation.

You will diagnose faults, provide quick solutions and help members continue their journeys safely, while developing your technical and customer service skills within a supportive, long‑term career framework.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years' experience.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills with a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical roadside repairs and diagnostics.
• Assist with emergency breakdown support for RAC members.
• Work across diverse locations and shifts.
• Develop skills through IMI accreditation.
