Job summary

RAC is seeking a Superflex Roadside Patrol to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll diagnose faults, repair vehicles and provide reassurance while members continue their journeys.

Shifts include evenings, weekends and peak periods, offering varied challenges and real impact on members. You’ll work with the latest diagnostic technology, make decisions on scene and develop through our structured training and IMI accreditation.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• Or 5+ years’ experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with under 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and perform roadside repairs.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and keep members safe.
• Provide clear guidance and support as the member journeys continue.
