Job summary

RAC is seeking a Superflex Roadside Patrol to deliver expert mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll diagnose faults, provide confident solutions, and help members continue their journeys safely.

The role offers flexible shifts including evenings, weekends and peak demand periods, supported by a development pathway and IMI accreditation opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics across the UK
• Provide emergency breakdown support and quick, confident solutions
• Diagnose faults and help members continue their journeys safely
• Work independently to diagnose faults and advise on repairs
