Job summary

RAC is seeking a Superflex Roadside Patrol to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You will diagnose faults, provide quick, confident solutions and reassure members when they need us most.

The role offers a flexible shift pattern covering days, evenings, weekends and peak periods, with shifts driven by member demand and rostered in advance. A structured development programme leads to IMI accreditation and long-term career growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic or equivalent
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• Full UK driving licence (many shifts require driving)

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK
• Diagnose faults, solve problems, and get members back on the road quickly
• Work flexibly across days, evenings, weekends and peak periods
• Develop skills through structured training and IMI accreditation
