Job summary

The RAC is hiring a Superflex Roadside Patrol to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll diagnose faults, perform tyre changes, battery work and assist members on the go.

This role offers a flexible shift pattern including evenings, weekends and peak periods. You’ll work with advanced diagnostic tools, develop through a structured pathway toward IMI accreditation, and join a team that values strong technical ability and

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults, provide quick, confident solutions and reassure members on the go.
• Work independently to diagnose faults and help members continue their journeys safely.

Skills

Full UK driving licence

5+ years experience as Vehicle/Mechani

Education

NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
