Job summary

RAC is seeking a Superflex Roadside Patrol to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics across the UK. You’ll work independently on shifts spanning days, evenings, weekends and peak periods to help members return to the road quickly and safely.

The role offers a structured development pathway, hands-on learning, and opportunities to achieve IMI accreditation, with strong base pay (£50,669.82) and an OTE around £58,000—plus enhanced rates and additional shifts.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics across the UK.
• Diagnose faults and provide quick, confident solutions to get members back on the road.
• Work independently on shifts covering days, evenings, weekends and peak periods.
