Job summary

The Aster Group is seeking a Neighbourhood Officer to join our West Dorset team. You will deliver an effective landlord service, focusing on tenancy and estate management, community safety, and value for customers in our neighbourhoods.

You will handle tenancy enquiries, address breaches, complete neighbourhood inspections, and coordinate repairs with colleagues. A driving licence and ability to travel across Dorset are essential to your role.

Qualifications

• Experience in tenancy and estate management with knowledge of housing practice and legislation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage a diverse workload.
• Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle for work.
• Willing to travel around the Dorset region.
• Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide a flexible landlord service to build communities.
• Manage properties, tenancy and estate management.
• Address tenancy breaches and create enforcement action plans.
• Complete neighbourhood inspections and arrange repairs.
• Liaise with customers daily to handle enquiries.
