Job summary

Aster Group in West Dorset is seeking a Neighbourhood Officer to deliver a proactive landlord service, manage tenancy and estate issues, and support communities across our Dorset region. You will work with customers daily, handle enquiries, breaches, and create action plans to maintain high housing standards.

The role requires experience in tenancy management, strong communication, and IT proficiency. You must hold a full UK driving licence and be comfortable travelling to Weymouth and Wareham

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing tenancy and estate management roles.
• Able to prioritise a diverse workload under pressure.
• Good knowledge of housing practice and legislation.

Responsibilities

• Provide an effective landlord service to build communities our customers are proud to live in.
• Handle tenancy enquiries and breaches; create action plans including enforcement of tenancy conditions.
• Complete neighbourhood inspections and coordinate repairs with colleagues.
