Job summary

Ford & Slater in Devizes is seeking a Customer Uptime Controller to keep customers' fleets on the road by coordinating with the DAF dealer network and third-party partners. You will focus on reducing downtime and delivering exceptional customer service, with training and development opportunities provided.

The role offers a base salary of £30,000–£33,000 with a quarterly bonus up to £1,500, plus 22 days holiday (rising to 25 after 5 years) and ongoing company events and training.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of outstanding customer service.
• Can-do attitude and troubleshooting mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• High IT literacy; comfortable using phone and email.
• Organised, resilient and able to work on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Manage uptime of customer fleet and liaise with DAF dealer network.
• Progress Vehicle Off Road (VOR) cases and coordinate with partners.
• Mitigate downtime through proactive liaison and issue resolution.
• Maintain cost control and communicate with manufacturers about specs or parts.
• Work Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm.
