Qualifications

• Proven experience leading or supervising a team.
• Experience in fleet, transport, logistics or service-based environments.
• Strong customer service and stakeholder management.
• Experience managing workloads and competing priorities.
• Experience producing reports and analysing operational data.
• Demonstrable experience of process improvement and change implementation.
• Advanced Microsoft 365 skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business.
• Ability to motivate and develop team members.
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
• Strong organisational and delegation skills.
• Experience working within a fleet or transport background.
• Full UK Driving Licence

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the day-to-day activities of the Fleet Department.
• Allocate workloads and priorities to meet service levels and objectives.
• Conduct regular one-to-one meetings, coaching sessions and reviews.
• Identify training and development requirements and support growth.
• Promote a positive, customer-focused culture and manage attendance.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and induction activities.
• Develop succession plans and support progression of team members.
• Encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing across the Fleet Department.
• Act as a key point of contact for fleet-related queries and escalations.
• Build relationships with operational teams, drivers, suppliers and departments.
• Maintain data quality and develop management information dashboards.
• Utilise Microsoft 365 to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Analyse data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Support automation initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
• Coordinate supplier activity and monitor service requests for timely delivery.
