Job summary

Pullman Fleet in Spalding (PE11) is seeking a Service Controller to lead a team of engineers, ensuring an efficient, high-quality service while meeting KPI and budget targets. The role focuses on coordinating technician workloads, controlling costs, and delivering timely, accurate job cards.

You will maintain strong communication with customers, oversee vehicle security, and ensure tasks are completed within agreed time-scales. This maternity cover position offers a supportive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Coordinate/delegate and manage all technician jobs.
• Ownership of the key performance indicators for the depot as laid down and agreed by the business and that corrective actions are in place to address adverse issues.
• Ensure that all allocated work is completed on time and that all completed job cards are accurate and contain accurate parts and labour costs.

Responsibilities

• To ensure that all technicians are efficient and productive in line with agreed budgetary levels.
• Maintain effective communications with customers, ensuring that work completion times are realistic, achievable and are communicated appropriately.
• Be responsible for vehicle security, ensuring that vehicles are locked and keys are stored in a safe location.
• Act in a manner which is efficient, orderly and timely, ensuring all tasks are achieved within the set time-scales.
