Job summary

Confidential just outside Warrington is seeking a Fleet Coordinator for a long-term temporary assignment with day shifts and no evenings or weekends. The role offers hourly pay from £12.82 to £15.52 with weekly pay and overtime opportunities.

You will manage vehicle breakdowns, repairs and maintenance, respond to driver calls, maintain records, and liaise with internal teams to keep the fleet running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service role.
• Experience in admin, support or coordination in Fleet/Logistics or similar environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Proficient with MS Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Own transport to site preferred due to location.

Responsibilities

• Managing and coordinating vehicle breakdowns, repairs and routine maintenance.
• Responding to driver calls and resolving fleet-related queries.
• Assessing reported vehicle defects and determining the appropriate course of action.
• Taking ownership of fleet incidents, liaising with accident management providers and operational teams.
• Updating operations teams with repair progress and completion times.
• Maintaining fleet records, including breakdowns, defects and purchase orders.
• Updating and maintaining the internal fleet management system.
• Ensuring vehicle maintenance records are compliant.
• Monitoring supplier performance.
• Completing incident documentation.
