Job summary

Jobwise Ltd in Appleton, Warrington, is seeking a Fleet Coordinator to support HGV drivers and the wider fleet operation. You will manage breakdowns, repairs and maintenance, liaising with suppliers and internal teams to keep the fleet safe and compliant.

The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, on a 4 on/4 off shift from 6:00pm to 6:00am, with overtime and a performance bonus. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are highly desirable due to the location.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Fleet Coordinator or in a related role.
• Experience in logistics or transport environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate vehicle breakdowns, repairs and routine maintenance with external suppliers.
• Respond to driver calls and resolve fleet-related queries within timescales.
• Assess vehicle defects and determine the appropriate action.
• Own fleet incidents end-to-end with insurers and operations.
• Update teams on repair progress and completion estimates.
• Maintain accurate fleet records and internal systems.
• Ensure maintenance records comply with procedures and legislation.
• Monitor supplier performance and service levels.
• Complete incident escalation documentation as required.
• Support Fleet Administration team and cover holidays.
