Job summary

DFDS is seeking a Transport Compliance Coordinator to help keep a large transport operation compliant, safe, and efficient. The role involves coordinating fleet servicing, inspections, and defect management while maintaining accurate compliance records and supporting audits.

You will work with drivers, planners, depots, suppliers, and compliance teams to balance regulatory demands with operational needs. The position is a 12-month fixed term role with Monday to Friday 08:00–17:00, offering

Qualifications

• Experience in transport, logistics, fleet administration, or compliance.
• Knowledge of driver hours legislation, FORS, DVS, Operator Licence compliance or transport regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate vehicle servicing, inspections, MOTs, repairs and defect management.
• Manage relationships with workshops, maintenance providers and external service partners.
• Monitor vehicle compliance and maintenance schedules for fleet availability and legal compliance.
• Support supplier performance reviews, cost control initiatives and service delivery standards.
• Liaise with drivers, planners and depots to minimise operational disruption.
• Maintain fleet records, compliance documentation and maintenance histories.
• Support audits, investigations and fleet compliance activities.
