Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist fire protection and fit-out contractor delivering project within an highly regulated environment. Due to ongoing growth, they are looking for an experienced Fire Stopping Site Supervisor or Site Manager ready to take the next step in their career.

This is a long-term, static role based at Heathrow, .

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee fire stopping works including penetration sealing, fire boarding, batts / mastic and intumescent coatings.
  • Support fire door upgrade and compliance works when required.
  • Manage daily site operations such as inductions, toolbox talks, RAMS, safety checks and quality inspections.
  • Work closely with clients, contractors and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery and programme control.
  • Assist with planning, sequencing, material take-offs and project reporting.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for compliance, evidence packs and handover.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in passive fire protection or fire stopping.
  • Experience supervising operatives or managing small works packages.
  • Good understanding of FIRAS, BM Trada, IFC or similar certification standards.
  • Ability to read drawings, check details and coordinate with other trades.
  • Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • CSCS required. SSSTS / SMSTS preferred (or working towards).
  • Must live within a reasonable commute of Heathrow.
  • Comfortable with a long‑term static site role.
Desirable Experience
  • Background working in airports, MOD bases or secure facilities.
  • Understanding of access protocols, permits, and high‑security procedures.
  • Experience with reporting, documentation, variations and compliance packs.
