Job summary

City Facilities Management is seeking a technical specialist to act as the first call response for stores, covering Fire, CCTV, EAS, Access Control, PA and Automatic Pedestrian Gates. You will perform maintenance, repairs and PPMs, ensure compliance with BS5839, and coordinate with the Duty Manager on site to minimise disruption to store operations.

The role requires a strong electrical background, CCTV and fire alarm system experience, and solid PC literacy.

Qualifications

Electrical qualification required (NVQ/City & Guilds).
Experience with CCTV IP/analogue systems.
Experience with fire alarm systems.
Must be PC literate.

Responsibilities

Undertake maintenance and repairs to KPI targets including response, repair, first fix and closure.
Ensure planned, reactive and statutory works for CCTV engineers meet contractual obligations in CityFM Bookcase.
Complete PPMs within timescales and document procedures accurately.
Respond to Helpdesk service calls during normal hours and on-call periods.
Order parts as required and chase delivery within 5 days.
Complete all paperwork to measure performance and undertake surveys as requested.
Meet with Duty Manager at stores to brief on repairs and issues affecting store operations.
Ensure tools and equipment are available and serviceable at all times.
Carry out required Fire PPM visits to BS5839 and ensure compliance with BS5839.
Notify procedural task conditions to the company helpdesk on cessation of works.
Carry out surveys and complete reports as required by supervisor/technical specialist.
