Job summary

City Facilities Management in the North West seeks a technically skilled CCTV and fire systems engineer to deliver first fix responses, preventive maintenance, and rapid fault resolution across designated stores.

You will work to KPI targets, complete compliant paperwork, order parts, and liaise with the Duty Manager. A strong electrical background with CCTV/IP systems and BS5839 knowledge is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification and CCTV/fire alarm knowledge.
• Experience with CCTV IP/analogue systems.
• Knowledge of BS5839 fire alarm standards and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Undertake maintenance and repairs in accordance with KPI's and first call response.
• Carry out planned maintenance and complete necessary paperwork to standards.
• Respond to Helpdesk requests, including on-call duties as required.
• Order parts, ensure prompt delivery and chase outstanding items (5 days).
• Complete surveys and reports as required by supervisor/technical specialist.
