Job summary

Project Start Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Fire & Security Technician to provide first-call maintenance across Fire Alarms, CCTV, EAS, Access Control, PA systems and gates in designated stores.

You will carry out PPM, on-call support, complete digital reports, and liaise with site managers while adhering to Health & Safety policies and BS5839 standards.

This full-time role offers a £39,076 base salary, a company vehicle and private healthcare within a national facilities management provider.

Qualifications

• GCSE standard education or equivalent.
• Electrical competency qualification (NVQ or City & Guilds) desirable.
• Proven experience working with Fire Alarm systems and CCTV (IP and analogue).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with client site teams and colleagues.
• Deliver work efficiently and cost-effectively while maintaining high technical standards.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to meet operational targets and service delivery standards.
• Demonstrate flexibility to support operational requirements and on-call rota participation.
