Job summary

City Facilities Management in the United Kingdom seeks a technical CCTV engineer to act as a specialist for designated stores, handling first call responses to Fire, CCTV, EAS, Access Control, PA and Automatic Pedestrian Gates.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, respond to helpdesk requests, complete PPM tasks, order parts, and ensure compliance with relevant BS5839 standards where applicable. A PC-literate candidate with CCTV/IP knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• Electrical Competency Qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds) is required.
• CCTV IP/analogue systems experience or knowledge.
• Fire alarm systems experience or qualification beneficial.
• PC literate with basic IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake maintenance and repairs to KPI standards.
• Respond to service calls and complete first fix where possible.
• Complete planned maintenance (PPM) within deadlines and document work.
• Order parts, track delivery, and report on parts not delivered within 5 days.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and complete surveys/reports as required.
• Liaise with Duty Manager about issues affecting store operations.
