Job summary

Project Start Recruitment Solutions is seeking a technically skilled Fire & Security Technician to service designated stores across Fire Alarms, CCTV, EAS, Access Control, PA systems and automatic gates, ensuring compliance and minimal disruption to store operations.

You will perform planned preventative maintenance and repairs, respond to helpdesk calls, complete digital reports, and maintain health and safety standards while on-call.

Qualifications

GCSE or equivalent is required.
Electrical qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds) desirable.
Proven Fire Alarm and CCTV experience (IP and analogue).
Full UK driving licence essential.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours and on-call.

Responsibilities

Represent the company professionally with clients.
Carry out PPM and reactive repairs within KPIs.
Respond to Helpdesk calls during working hours and on-call.
Ensure Fire Alarm systems comply with BS 5839 and report defects.
Complete documentation and digital reports accurately.
Maintain safety standards and company procedures.
