Job summary

City Facilities Management is seeking a Fire & Security Technician in Oxford to carry out repairs and preventive maintenance on fire and security systems across Asda sites. The role requires working to KPIs, timely paperwork, and a proactive approach.

The ideal candidate will have GCSEs, electrical qualifications, CCTV and fire alarm system experience, and a full driving licence. On offer is a permanent contract with a comprehensive benefits package and the chance to grow with nationwide client

Qualifications

• GCSE standard is required.
• Electrical competency qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds) is expected.
• CCTV IP/analogue systems knowledge required.
• Fire alarm systems knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repairs as per KPI targets.
• Perform planned preventive maintenance on fire and security equipment.
• Respond to Helpdesk requests during normal hours and on-call as needed.
• Identify non-repairable faults and propose corrective action.
