The role includes a call-out rota and offers a permanent position with consistent workload.

Fire & Security Service EngineerCCTV & Access Control Focus - Lancashire / Manchester We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established fire & security company that is looking to expand its Service Division with an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer.

This is a field-based role covering Lancashire, Manchester, and surrounding areas (including Lancaster), working across a varied commercial client base.

The Role

You will be responsible for service, maintenance, reactive, and emergency works, with a strong focus on high-end CCTV and Access Control systems. The role includes working on both standalone and multi-site systems.

A good level of IP / networking knowledge is essential, as much of the work involves networked CCTV and access control solutions.

Hours, Callout & Package
  • Hours: 08:30 on site – 17:00 finish
  • Call-out: 1 week in 4
  • Travel: First 30 minutes each way unpaid
  • Salary: Dependent on the engineer's skill set and experience
  • Permanent role with consistent workload

  • Fire Alarms (Conventional and Addressable)

Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years experience servicing commercial fire and security systems
  • Strong CCTV and Access Control background
  • Good IP and networking knowledge
  • Confident fault-finding and diagnostic ability
  • Able to work independently
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willing to take part in a 1-in-4 call-out rota
  • Professional and customer-focused approach
