Fire &/or Security / Fire Alarm Engineer (Service or Installation)

Salary: £28,000-£40,000 per year (DOE)

Locations: Work across commercial, residential, and industrial sites

If you're a skilled Fire & Security Engineer or a Fire Alarm specialist this is your chance to work with advanced systems, take ownership of your work, and keep people and property safe. We are recruiting for a Security Engineer, Fire Alarm Engineer, Small Works Engineer, Servicing Engineer and Installation Engineer.

What you'll do
  • Install, test, and commission fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems to industry standards.
  • Carry out routine maintenance and servicing (including emergency lighting and surveillance equipment).
  • Diagnose faults and complete timely repairs to keep systems fully operational.
  • Produce clear documentation and provide professional client support.
  • Work safely and compliantly, following all H&S regulations and company procedures.
What we're looking for
  • Proven experience as a Fire & Security Engineer, Fire Alarm Engineer, Security Systems Engineer, or similar.
  • Knowledge of UK fire and security standards (e.g., BS 5839, BS 5266, PD 6662) and relevant certifications (preferred).
  • Strong technical skills across installation, maintenance, and fault‑finding for fire alarms, CCTV, intruder, and access control.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
