Job description

A Fire Alarm Engineer is required to carry out the servicing, testing, and breakdown support of fire alarm systems across a range of client sites. The role involves working both within the local area and, when necessary, travelling to sites nationwide.

A sign-on bonus equivalent to one month's basic salary is available for candidates who apply directly. This will be paid upon the successful completion of the probationary period.

Key Responsibilities
  • Servicing, maintaining, and testing fire alarm systems
  • Identifying faults and responding to breakdowns
  • Attending a variety of client sites
  • Travelling within an allocated region and nationally when required
  • Participating in and adhering to an on-call rota
Essential Criteria
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Electrical experience relating to fire alarm systems
  • Strong working knowledge of BS5839
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Ability to take part in on-call duties
Desirable Criteria
  • IPAF and/or PASMA certification
  • FIA qualifications
  • ECS / CSCS card
