Financial Accounting and Reporting Manager

Location: Camden, London

Overview

Our client, a well known and respected leader in their field, is looking to add a talented and highly driven finance professional. The role will allow for real creative flair and a pivotal position within a fast-moving global enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial accounting operations and produce accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting across global entities.
• Oversee the full month-end close process, statutory accounts preparation, tax compliance support, and audit coordination; drive operational excellence and continuous improvement in financial control.
• Support the Group Financial Controller with reporting quality, governance, and systems development.
• Collaborate with the wider finance team (FP&A, Business Planning) and regional business leaders to support scalable, compliant, and well-documented financial operations.
• Be responsive to demand for fast turnaround of figures to support decisions; balance speed and accuracy and question assumptions constructively.
• Demonstrate strong technical accounting understanding (IFRS or local GAAP) and advanced spreadsheet and ERP capabilities.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or on the verge of completing studies.
• Experience in a fast-paced commercial enterprise; ideally PE-backed startup or a medium-sized entity about to scale.
• Role not hybrid; requires office presence 5 days a week.
